How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I attend various Transition Boulder County events, am absolutely into the idea, will structure my career mainly on principals of Transition and other various localization ideas, and am part of the Naropa Transition group.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
It speaks to a level of community that has not been a reality for a long time - at least never in my life. I want to see America with a whole new face, a compassionate, knowledgeable face that can weather what we have coming to us. I want us to be warriors for humanity, not against.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Cleaning up the mess we have already made.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
I can apply my budding knowledge of remediation using fungus, apply my intensity and vision to the plate as well.
Suggestions you have for improving our Registration questions. Getting to know you better.
I want to know what is everyone else's favorite aspect of being in a human body in this day and age. My favorite part of being in a body is having a spine. What a beautiful thing...

Urchek,
Basketball. that's my favorite part of being human.
Sorry I bailed on the commisioners meeting thing. I ended up not attending, not reading from people that there was interest in the review of policies being undertaken. It seemed to have been a pivotal meeting. I think that I'm not sure as to what to even recommend because I haven't really discussed with others what kind of code recommedations they want, think are realistic and would get behind proposing. To me, as Boulder will be late in being hit by this economic tsunami, we need to develop a coherent plan to address the code recommendations being proposed. I would like to talk more to interested individuals. Be well.
If you are intersted in the Power of Now meetings. email me at arniepo@hotmail.com and I will send you all info, directions, etc. The next meeting is Tuesday dec 16th at 7:15
