As you may recall, I lived in C Sprngs more than 30 years ago for 6 years (before it became what it is now), and I spent 10 years before moved to VT in NM, and I am soooo ready to return to dryness and sun. In many ways, this journey is one of coming home. Among so many other things, I'm looking forward to seeing the aspens change colors.

Hi Pam--Yes, I'd love the veggies anytime. I'm impressed that you have some to offer since there are few veggies to be harvested in VT as a result of a summer of nothing but rain and various kinds of blight. Climate change marches on. Yes, I remember you from the group and look forward to seeing you again--and eating the veggies.--Carolyn

Thanks for commenting, Pam. Don't worry - I quickly got over feeling disappointed when I got home and got right back to the grindstone! I almost didn't go because of the weather, but I felt that I really needed to spend time talking about and doing some inner work, so I was disappointed more than mad.

Maybe in the future the decision can be made at least a couple of hours before the meeting and posted here? I checked at 10:10 ish or so, right before I left, but the message didn't come in until about 10:18 ish. I just missed it! This is the best place to check on those messages, since email can often be delayed or slow. And calling people is just too much of a hassle. So...

I'm looking forward to the next meeting. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.

wow- Inner Transition is changing fast already - just like the rest of the world! I'm a librarian on campus - my assistant just got his dream job and there's a hiring freeze, so... I will be very interested to watch this progress and do hope to be able to jump back in some time. Very best to you!

Hi Pam,
NSP is the Nederland Sustainability Project. I'm on the board and share managing the community garden in Ned and the upcoming greenhouse and forest garden.
As to Permaculture courses, Sandy has asked me to organize the mountain communities interest in Permaculture i.e. Allenspark, Estes Park, Ned, etc and teach courses with a team I put together. That may mean a full Permaculture Design Course and or workshops. We will see.
I would be interested in hosting the Boulder Mountains Tranisiton group. Would like to know more.
We should talk soon.
I'll give you a call.
Jason
