How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I am a member of the TL Initiating Committee (Steering Group) and the leader of the Operational Development Group and I continue spreading the word about Transition Longmont.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
Peak Oil is real. We need to prepare for the inevitable decline of cheap energy ASAP.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
My background is in computers and telephone systems with a recent career change to alternative health care. I am a published author and experienced public speaker. I chaired a Telecom standards committee, managed groups at large and small companies, and spent a year living in China teaching at a University.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
By spreading the word about Transition Longmont.
