- How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
- I'm producing the documentary film, Hooked on Growth: Our Misguided Quest for Prosperity, to help our society move away from our unsustainable obsessions with economic growth and our denial of overshoot. In the end, getting unhooked from growth will not entail sacrifice but will instead free us to achieve true prosperity and real happiness.
- In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
- I recognize that we are at the end of the era of plenty (as in plenty of food, plenty of fuel and plenty of water), and that it is time to transition.
- What background and skills do you bring to this community?
- I'm a professional filmmaker with good communication (writing and speaking) skills.
- How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
- I can provide video production guidance and assistance. Also my documentary will aid in accelerating public awareness.
