Transition Social Network Communications Using Skype

Skype is the official phone and conference calling tool for our social networks.
  • Install Skype -- Free calls and conference calls for skype-to-skype users. Set up LSquiresSkype as a Contact and call me with questions about Transition. I'll help you set up conference calls with your initiators, friends, family, committees, workgroups and virtual special interest groups. Communication is my passion and my contribution to Transitioners.
  • Skype calls to landlines and cell phones -- Need to call non-Skype phones? Set up a pre-paid account. Call me if you have questions how pre-paids differ from skype-to-skype free accounts. Very handy when I was 4 months in India last year and called clients back in the U.S. at 2.1 cents a minute. This is how Skype can afford to give free service to skype-to-skype users. Call me at LSquiresSkype if you have further questions.

I see now the profile information from other members. Still don't see anything from Nederland--am I missing something? I see Boulder County and a variety of other towns, but find no Nederland.

Thanks!

Hey Les - Thanks for the welcome. I just used the 'Send A Message To Group' link on the Transition Denver page to ask for help with a project of mine. Have people received it? I can't see any place where it appears. Should I have done a wall comment instead? Still trying to learn my war around this site. Thanks for your help!

Les, thanks for the welcome. I appreciate it. I'll take your advice and link to the groups I'm involved with. I couldn't agree more that a rich web of connections will benefit us all in transitioning to a more vital community.

Hi Les,

With regards to Vox Feminista's upcoming shows, it just seemed like it would be clearer for people to be able to see each individual performance. If I listed it as beginning 11/6 and ending 12/19, how would people know where and when to go?

Thanks,
Jess

Hi Les,

Forrest Craver is assisting me with book and event promotion, and he's suggested that you might help me create a Ning site. I'm not sure how to proceed with this, so please get back with me and let me know what I need to do. Thanks.

I appreciate the warm welcome, Les, and I'm glad you re-wrote some of the things that I said because I realized that I said aloud instead of allowed-- even though I do like to live loudly! I'm stoked to meet more of these like minds, happy Fall!
