NEW DATE! Potluck and Used Book Exchange!

WHEN: Friday, January 15th at 6 pm
WHERE: 11093 Zephyr Street, Westminster, CO

DETAILS: Bring a dish to share and bring your good used books that you don't mind exchanging or giving away. Fiction, non-fiction, it's all good! This is a great way of getting your hands on good reading material for the New Year without worrying about returning the books to the library or spending too much money.

If you'd like your book back, be sure to put your name and number on the inside jacket. If this is a success, I would like to host these at least once every couple of months.

Utensils, plates and beverages will be provided.

RSVP: to the event posted in the "Events" tab on this website.

I sure wish there were a way on this system to pass out gold stars to great ideas and contributions...a number of the recent posts would have gotten them from me and I am sure they would have accumulated more from others!

Very inspiring.

am already talking about it informally locally here & personally rethinking resource plan & decision-making for home on a business plan model for total success not only financial.

David Braden recommended a book to me that I have just finished and I somehow think that it will speak to many of this group. "Small is Possible: Life in a Local Economy" by Lyle Estill.New Society Publishers, 2008.

I thought of all of you as I read it. It is possible.

So many great classes! Can't wait.

I'm working on the details of a bicycle maintenance workshop.
Also would like to have a short series of working meetings with anyone interested on design of cold frames and inexpensive greenhouses tailored for passive solar heating.

I can teach a variety of herbal medicine classes from a one time class on kitchen medicine to a series of classes covering more in depth exploration of herbs for healing and local/native plant usage and id.
